Talent good BUT talent + wisdom = SUCCESS! Artistic Soul Entertainment presents The Third Annual Beyond Potential Music Gathering and Showcase.


Nashville, TN – Many gospel hopefuls will have an opportunity to learn and be inspired by some of the top industry executives and artists such as Larry Blackwell, Jr.- VP/GM of EMI Gospel, Karen Jackson –Director of Artist Development for EMI Gospel, Wade Jessen – Sr. Chart Manager for The Nielson Company/Billboard and many others during the Beyond Potential Music Gathering & Showcase. Talent is definitely needed in this industry, but learning the business is equally important; talent can get you in, wisdom will sustain you. The third annual event will be held on April 16-17th, 2010 at Abundant Life Christian Center in Nashville, TN.



Friday evening we will kick-off with president and co-founder of Gotee Records, Joey Elwood; “An Evening with an Executive.” Attendees will be able to use this opportunity to pick the brain of one of the most respected names in the industry. Once the impartation of wisdom is concluded, artists and writers can take the stage and share their latest music with their peers and execs on hand, during the BP Open Mic Showcase which features special guest appearances by Lisa McClendon and Pettidee. Only 30 slots are available, so be the first to register online and sign-up to “showcase” your talent. Also, Artistic Soul Entertainment will be hosting their first annual BP Awards for those who have impacted/influenced the industry.



On Saturday, participants can get ready to experience a day of empowerment during Beyond Potential University. More than a dozen professionals will lead powerful career development seminars. Topics will include: An Indie’s Guide to Grassroots Marketing, Recording/Engineer Tips, Digital Distribution, Developing the Right Image, and much more. The daylong event will also consist of a networking luncheon and a halftime show.



And finally, the Music Feedback Session will allow artists to take part in a one-on-one listening session and receive useful feedback on their music. “So many artists are wanting to be heard,” says Antonio Neal, award-winning songwriter and co-founder of Artistic Soul Entertainment. “This is the perfect time to not only share your music, but to get honest feedback from professionals.”
